Service Technician Training
ETP Funding Requirements
Each month you will be invoiced according to the price guidelines for the 2015-16 school year. A refund of $4,900 will be issued after the course is successfully completed and all requirements below have been met and verified.
Participation Requirements:
- Student must complete the entire course (9 months, online class twice a week plus 6 hands on labs)
- Student must be employed at your company full time (at least 35 hours per week)
- Student must remain employed at your company 90 days after their last class
- Student must be paid the minimum wage requirement (see below)
- Student must not pay any money out of pocket
Wage Requirements:
ETP requirements for pay must be met during training and for 90 days after classes end. The wage is based on the county your shop is located. This wage is determined based on data from the Labor Market Information Division of the Employment Development Department. Health benefits (employer share-of-cost for medical, dental, and vision care) may be included in wages.
- High Unemployment Area’s - $15.07 per hour (including benefits)
- All Other Area’s - $20.55 per hour (including benefits)
